How to delete
your account

You can permanently delete your ASAP Safety account at any time. You can request deletion from this web page even if you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your device.

To start a deletion request without using the app, email us at contact@asapsafety.nl from the email address linked to your ASAP Safety account. If you registered with a phone number or username, include that too so we can find and verify your account.

Delete from the app

Open the ASAP Safety app

Make sure you are logged into the account you want to delete.

Go to your Profile

Tap the person icon in the bottom-right corner of the navigation bar to open your profile.

Scroll down to "Delete account"

Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen and tap "Delete account" (or "Verwijder account" in Dutch).

Confirm the deletion

A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap Confirm to permanently delete your account. This action cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days:

Your profile

Name, email, username, phone number, profile photo

Location history

All SOS session and check-in location data

Safety Circles

Your circles and contact relationships

Push token

Your device notification token

Session history

Records of past SOS sessions and check-ins

Note: Contacts who had you in their Safety Circle will be notified that you have left, but none of your personal data will remain visible to them after deletion. If we are legally required to keep limited records for security, fraud prevention, or compliance, we will explain what is retained and for how long.
